Oppo has now announced its affordable smartphone, the A55 5G. This device comes with the Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset and a large capacity battery. The Dimensity 700 chipset has Cortex-A76 cores with 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 units, which are said to be more energy efficient at 2 GHz.
The chip is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, and Oppo continues to equip the A55 5G with a microSD slot, for those looking to expand the storage sector further. On the screen is a 6.5 LCD with HD + resolution and a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz. This part of the screen panel shows the concept of thin bangs by saving a camera resolution of 8 MP f / 2.0.
On the rear camera is a 13MP f / 2.2 lens and two additional lenses, 2MP f / 2.4, one for the depth lens and the other for close-ups. Due to chipset restrictions, the Oppo A55 5G can only record videos up to 1080p and 30 frames per second, while slow motion clips are limited to 720p.
What is also the selling point of this device is the 5,000 mAh battery. According to the GSMArena report, this device might not be able to charge quickly (just 5V / 2A, i.e. 10W), but there is at least one USB-C port on the bottom, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack and fingerprint scanner the side.
For those of you who are interested, this phone is only for the Chinese market and it is possible that it could be marketed abroad as well, including Indonesia of course. The retail price itself is around $ 245.
